The Forest Stewardship Council Certification:

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is the world’s most rigorous forest certification organization. It is granted to forest enterprises which meet stringent criteria and practice exemplary forest management, as defined in terms of environmental, economic and social performance measures.

FSC certification is a tool for consumers to verify that our wood products are indeed authentic river wood. Columbia Riverwood is proud to be FSC-certified and to uphold the standards set forth by the Council. Additionally, the FSC is supported and encouraged by environmental organizations such as the Nature Conservancy, the National Wildlife Federation and the World Wildlife Fund.

Not only is Columbia Riverwood FSC-certified, but so is the sawmill where reclaimed boomsticks become your sculpted products. Columbia Riverwood is a division of Digger Mountain Forestry LLC, a FSC-certified family owned forest in western Oregon.
